We’re finally getting into some decorative work! For our walls, we chose to use shiplap, which you can readily find at your local hardware store. The shiplap that we got was already primed, so all we did was paint it before we got ready to put it up. Next, it was just a matter of measuring, cutting, and nailing the shiplap to our studs! We have our full video below, but here are some notes that you might want to take into consideration:

Materials
- Shiplap- Find it at your local hardware store
- White Paint/ Primer (if not already primed)
- Paint brush
- Nail Gun
- Nails — Make sure they are the correct gauge and appropriate for a nail gun!
- Wood putty – We like the color changing because you know when it’s dry!
- Putty Knife
- Sand Paper
- Jigsaw
- Tape Measure
- Chop Saw
- Table Saw
- Construction Pencil
Notes After 10 Months On the Road
Overall, we absolutely LOVE our shiplap walls! We’ve had no problems at all! We wouldn’t change anything!
