What to do in Erie, PA if you are traveling with a Pup:
Presque Isle is a peninsula that extends into — you guessed it! Lake Erie– one of the 5 Great Lakes. This park is open year round (although we suggest summer visiting!) and is free to enter. Note: this park is for day-use only (5AM to sunset) and no overnight camping is permitted. While you are at Presque Isle you can Surf, Scuba Dive, Fish, Swim, and picnic! The water is chilly, but CRYSTAL CLEAR! Also, please keep your furry-friend on a leash.

Right before you enter Presque Isle State Park, there is an adorable, 1950s Style diner that you have got to check out! If you’re wondering, it has 4.6 stars with 2,512 Google Reviews. It opened in 1980 and serves that classic, American-Style drive in diner food that makes your mouth water and gets you excited for summer. They serve char-grilled hotdogs and hamburgers, fried fish, curly fries and homemade onion rings among many other delights. Don’t forget your ice cream at the end (for you and your dog)!

Zak and I love a good brewery! This specific brewery has two locations: one in Knowledge Park, and one on the West Side. They have a list of six beers that are available year round and then a list of seasonal beers as well. They have stouts, shandys, IPAs, blondes, sours, and cream ales to name a few. While you’re having a drink, check out their “pub and pie” food menu which is a collaboration with John’s Wildwood.
